I think it's funny to see people hopping back on the Patriots bandwagon after they've pounded two PATHETIC teams in back-to-back weeks. Of course they should win those games, I wouldn't expect different. I've been with the Pats since day 1, but I'm not stupid. Until they beat a real team, all this comeback talk doesn't mean anything. Let's see them beat tough Tampa Bay team next week (maybe with Doug Flutie at QB ) and THEN we can talk about them in another playoff showdown with the Colts.
And as far as Super Bowl teams go, the NFC is still totally junior varsity. There's not a single team in the NFC that can give the Colts a game, sorry Seattle fans. Peyton and Co. would shred your defense like a wet paper bag, and Dwight Freeney would be applying Matt Hasslebeck's butt to the turf so often moving the ball would be impossible.
Now if the Colts stumble in the playoffs... it gets WIDE open. The Broncos have proven themselves vulnerable (barely beating the Ravens? Come on.), as have the Bengals (the new Colts, all O and no D). San Diego may be the best team to miss the playoffs, the Jags have no quarterback, and the Patriots lack defensive consistency. In the NFC, Seattle has riden a weak schedule, the Bears have NO offense, Eli Manning makes the Giants nervous, and nobody in the South can make up their mind about who wants to win the division.
As long as the Colts are in it, it's going to be a very boring postseason though. Blowouts get a little old after a while.

I'm looking forward to the postseason. High powered offense with the Colts and all teams playing a bit more on the edge to avoid being eliminated. It's going to be good viewing.

the colts high powered offense has been nohting like last years. manning hasnt thrown near as many td passes. there defense has stepped it up this year, which is a big part as to y they are 13-0. they are still high powered no doubt a/b that, this year they just arent all manning this year. edge is having a good year whihc is helping take pressure off of manning. but i think the def is a big part as to y they are undefeated. also on another note. the seahawks showed me they CAN throw the ball. in there last game hasselback threw 4 td passes i think. now if only they were more consistent then they mite make it to the super bowl.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Seattle trashing the Eagles or the 49ers does not impress me. Put up 42 points on the Bears or Bucs, and I'll take notice. Until then my contention will continue to be that they have simply profitted by a SOFT schedule. And if we're looking forward to a Colts/Seahawks Super Bowl... believe me when I say that Peyton Manning and Edgerrin James will NOT cough up the ball the way the Eagles did, or play incompetent defense like the 49ers did. The 'Hawks aren't even in their league.

Id have to agree with your points there are a few teams tho who just might beat the seahawks to the super bowl.
panthers
falcons
redskins
giants
maybe someone else.
the most likey super we should see is Seahawks vs Colts and yea the colts will own them but hey im happy a new super bowl champion will be crowned and at least a team i dont hate will hold it high at the end.
with all that being said i hate bucs and pats but i will be rooting for the pats to crush the bucs this sat.

Im hoping the Giants will meet the Seahawks in the playoffs, and win. Hopefully Jay Feely will be at his best, the game winner against the Eagles sure sheds some light.

Colts lost, but really, that was the hardest game they'd have to play all you given the circumstances. The Chargers are a tough team when their backs are against the wall and today that was the case. For them, the rest of the season is must win so they can hold a spot in the playoffs. I think it is also fair to remember that two of the big factors on the Colts defense, Simon and Mathis, were not suited up today.
What I'm really interested in watching today is Chicago v Atlanta.
It's also a good idea to keep an eye on teams like the Vikings, Jags, and Redskins.
My two cents I suppose.

i think it does, it shows that they are not perfect- gives other teams that plays against them a little more confidence also that giving peyton manning
pressure(which by the way new england did hella of a job against tampa bay yesterday) helps beat the colts.

The Chargers got so much pressure on Manning because the Colts' offensive line underperformed though. Honestly, what is looking at film of this game (which everyone who wants to try and beat the Colts will do) going to tell you? That you should hope that the Colts' O-line doesn't do its job? Usually their line does a marvelous job of protecting him. Today, the O-line flopped. Something tells me this won't be a reoccuring event.

Comeback playoff wins for the Steelers
If not, I'd like to see Colts get humiliated in the SuperBowl by some wildcard from NFC. I like longshots, it'd be hilarious.

Whoa! The Bears are bringing in Rex Grossman as QB! This should be interesting. It'd be nice if he could bring their offense to life.

Grossman is actually doing a pretty good job, except the one int (but that really didn't make a difference did it?).
